
Care and Share – Volunteer Day and Food Drive

Please follow these instructions to register online for your reserved event(s):
1. Visit the Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado event registration page: https://cerv.is/0066rIREM (This link will only display the events specifically reserved for your group).
2. Select your desired event and follow the on screen instructions to access the CERVIS registration system. If this is your first time using the CERVIS online registration system, you will be prompted to create a Volunteer Profile.
Event Reservation Code: IREM
Everyone, including all adults and children must register for the event 2 days before volunteering. Any volunteer slots that are remaining may be released back to the public to fill those slots.
Waivers for volunteers under 18. Waivers for volunteers under the age of 18 must be signed electronically by the guardian during the time of registration. This happens during the online profile creation for the child. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any child under 18 to volunteer without this waiver signed by their guardian.
Basic Information and Safety Protocols:
- Please excuse yourself from volunteering and reschedule your shift if you are more than 10 minutes late. It’s important that all volunteers arrive on time to receive instructions to complete the daily activity.
- Enter on the NORTH-EAST side of the building across from the GREENHOUSE (Follow the volunteer signs, and find the door that says “Volunteer Entrance”)
- Face masks are optional, please bring your own.
- All shoes must be closed-toed with no open backs
- No overly loose clothing is allowed for safety reasons (skirts, dresses, baggy pants)
- Cell phone use is limited to the employee/volunteer break room.
- No headphones (music, Bluetooth) are allowed in the volunteer areas or the warehouse.
- Purses and bags should be left at home.
- Only designated Care and Share employees are allowed to ride or operate forklift equipment
- Personal food or drinks are allowed only in the employee/volunteer breakroom
