Andy Merritt is the Chief Defense Industry Officer for the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance where he is responsible for running the Defense Development Division. In that role he supports the development of aerospace and defense companies, guides community efforts to support our military installations and service members, and works with elected officials and community leaders to maintain and grow key missions and industries in the Pikes Peak region. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, Merritt served in a variety of positions in the Republic of Korea and at Fort Carson, Colorado, as well as supporting two Joint Task Force drug interdiction missions. Merritt has also worked in financial services and on staff for U.S. Senator Hank Brown, U.S. Senator Wayne Allard, and Congressman Mike Coffman. Andy will cover:
